Although currently the foundation governor advisor for the Salisbury Diocesan Board of Education, Dan has had a diverse career. He has previously spent many years as a secondary school science teacher and as a regional manager for a private pest control firm in the South West.
In a voluntary capacity, Dan is a foundation governor of a 1FE primary school and also the chair of a small multi-academy trust that consists of three primary schools, a role which he has occupied for the last four years.
From his various roles across education, Dan has become vastly experienced in the challenges and opportunities facing schools, school leaders, and especially those involved in school governance. Alongside this valuable experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his position at The White Horse Federation.
