Having successfully studied for a BA (Hons) degree in modern history and a masters’ degree in education, Julian began his career as a history teacher. He then took up a number of different leadership roles at various schools.
Julian’s success in these roles, and his National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), made him an ideal candidate for a headteacher role, and he soon secured a headship at a respected secondary school in Staffordshire.
Currently, Julian is The WHite Horse Federation’s director of secondary education, meaning he is responsible for all the secondary schools in the trust. He is also the interim regional director for Gloucester. In this role, Julian is responsible for the outcomes of the pupils in the area and ensuring that every child achieves their full potential.
Outside of work, Julian is a loving husband and proud father to three beautiful daughters.
