I joined the TWHF Board in May 2021 and I’m very excited to be a member of the Team.
I have a history of public service and charitable work. Most recently with the Armed Forces Charity Help for Heroes, working in a variety of appointments over my 7 years with them. My roles included administration, event organising, Grants Officer and PA to the Director of Recovery.
Whilst living in Hampshire, I have dedicated time to the Citizens Advice Bureau Andover, as a Trustee and the BBC as a member of their Local Advisory Panel. I have spent 15 years as a Wiltshire Bench Magistrate with the last 6 years working in the Family Court, an appointment that I enjoy immensely.
Following redundancy from H4H, I am now carving a new career as an accredited Mediator in civil and commercial mediation. As a member of the Society of Mediators, I also enjoy supporting their annual intensive Free Summer Mediation Project at the Royal Courts of Justice, London.
On a personal level, I love to travel and can’t wait to do more. Visiting London is a passion, and I can lose myself there any day of the week! I have a wonderful and varied collection of children’s books which is growing all the time. I love all things to do with craft, theatre, dining out and spending time with friends, my adorable granddaughter and wonderful grown-up family who currently live in London and Germany.
