My child is vulnerable. What should I do?

If you can look after your child at home and would prefer to do so during this period to ensure social distancing, you are permitted to do so in line with government guidance.

Where possible, your child’s school will liaise with you to provide support from a distance, including access to therapists and other providers.

Are there any transport arrangements for children with an EHC plan, special educational needs (SEN), or who are vulnerable?

It is your local authority’s responsibility to arrange transport for children with an EHC plan, special educational needs (SEN), or who are vulnerable.

Please contact your local authority for advice on whether this will be available to your child.
