British Computer Society Donates Laptops to Help Children Learning from Home
During the course of the previous lockdown and over the summer, we received hundreds of computers, laptops, and donations from generous businesses and individuals supporting our home learning devices campaign. Your support was so impressive we even made the national news!
With the continued safety measures in place to limit the spread of the coronavirus, it is still just as imperative for us to continue providing home learning support and access to every pupil so that they can stay on track if asked to self isolate from school.
That’s why we're so grateful to have received 11 laptops from the British Computer Society, an organisation based in Swindon.
Having identified those pupils who can best benefit from additional home learning devices, the laptops have been distributed to schools around the federation.
With restrictions likely to be in place for a while to come, we’re still grateful for any further donations.
If you’ve got a computer, tablet, or smartphone that you don’t use any more, contact [email protected]. If you would like to donate cash to support the initiative, please visit the donation pages which can be found on the communities page of your school’s website.
