National Allocation Day 2020: Accept Your Secondary School Place Offer
Monday 2nd March is National Allocation Day for students entering secondary school.
On this long-anticipated day, secondary school place offers will be sent to the parents of year 6 students. It’s a very exciting day, and we hope that everyone gets the offers they are hoping for.
It’s an exciting day for us, too, and we’re looking forward to warmly welcoming enthusiastic young students into The White Horse Federation family. To guarantee your child’s place, we encourage parents and carers receiving offers to accept them as soon as they are able.
The deadline for accepting offers is different for each local authority. Listed below are the deadlines for accepting offers for places at our secondary schools:
- The Ridgeway School & Sixth Form College (Swindon Borough Council) — 13th March
- John Madejski Academy (Reading Borough Council) — 15th March
- Devizes School & Melksham Oak Community School (Wiltshire Council) — 16th March
- Whitelands Academy (Oxfordshire County Council) — 18th March
At The White Horse Federation, our primary goal is for our schools to provide the best possible education to all their students. Every educator at our schools has the best interests of young people at heart, and we want to ensure that no child is left behind.
The step up to secondary school is an important milestone for every student. We ensure that support is in place at all of our secondary schools to make the transition a success for every student.
If you’ve been offered a place at a TWHF secondary school, don’t forget to accept it before the deadline. We can’t wait to meet you in September!
