Nyland School Maintains ‘Good’ Ofsted Rating
After an inspection in early November, Ofsted has published their latest report on Nyland School. We are proud and delighted to announce that, once again, Nyland School has been recognised as a ‘good’ school.
Principal, Paul Holroyd, joined the school in 2020 to continue the work of his predecessor in improving the school, expanding its curriculum, and creating a positive experience for children, many of whom say they had previously had a negative experience of education. Pupils and parents described staff as ‘amazing, kind, and dedicated’ and praised the school for its focus on keeping children safe.
Mr. Holroyd said: ‘I am incredibly proud of our school, its staff, students, and parents, who have collectively helped to make this happen. The feedback we have received via our staff survey and parent feedback via Ofsted Parent View is testament to the hard work and effort put in to ensure this school provides a positive learning and supportive environment for all our children.’
At The White Horse Federation, we are very proud of the efforts of Paul and his team and wider school community. This news has been a real positive to reflect on as we continue to navigate these challenging times and an early Christmas present for everyone across the Trust. Well done to everyone at Nyland School!
