The White Horse Federation Special Sector Awards

This year, we’re launching a new series of end of year awards for excellence in Special School teaching at The White Horse Federation.

The first WHF Special Sector Awards will be presented during the summer of 2021 and nominations are open to applications from any of the special schools within the Federation.

The categories are

Outstanding Personal Progress (Individual pupil award)
Outstanding Achievement (Individual pupil award)
Outstanding Contribution to the community (individual or team award)
Innovation and Creativity (individual pupil, team, or school award)
Good Citizen Award (Individual or group pupil award)
Success Story
Volunteer of the year
Carer of the year
Parent of the year
Teacher of the year
Support staff of the year

If you would like to nominate a colleague or someone you know who really makes a difference at your school for any of these awards, please submit your applications via the following form before the deadline on 2nd July 2021.

As we approach the summer period, further details will be announced about the award ceremony.

We believe that this is a great opportunity to celebrate the amazing hard-work and achievements of everyone involved in the special education sector, from parents to teachers, from school leaders to support staff, so don’t hesitate to send in your nominations!
