The White Horse Federation is delighted to announce that St Luke’s School has joined the Trust. The move was officially completed on 1st September, just in time for the start of the new school year.
Situated in Swindon, St Luke’s is a special school whose students have social, emotional, and mental health needs. The school works with a variety of partners and support services to provide students with the individual assistance they require. St Luke’s overall aim is for all children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) to reach their full potential in a supportive environment that prepares them for adult life.
St Luke’s joining The White Horse Federation gives us the opportunity to expand our special schools provision in Swindon. What’s more, we aim to build on our experience of improving outcomes for students at special schools gained through our work at Peak Academy.
Julian Morgan, Director of Secondary Education at The White Horse Federation, said: “St Luke’s is a great school, and we are proud to be welcoming them into the Federation. We are looking forward to working hard to improve the life chances of pupils, ensuring that the young people attending St Luke’s receive the support needed to fulfil their potential.”
In recent years, The White Horse Federation has continued to grow and move from strength to strength. St Luke’s School is a great addition to the Trust, and we are excited to start work on improving outcomes for the school and its students
