Consultation - RSHE Policy

The government has introduced updated statutory guidance for Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE), which all schools will be required to follow from 1 September 2026. As a result, we are currently reviewing our RSHE curriculum and policy to ensure that our provision reflects both the new expectations and the needs of our pupils.

In doing so, we are committed to ensuring our curriculum is appropriate and sensitive to our community. This includes careful consideration of pupils’:

  • Age and stage of development

  • Physical and emotional maturity

  • Religious and cultural background

  • Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

As part of this process, we are launching a consultation with parents and carers. Your views are incredibly important to us and will directly inform how we shape our RSHE provision moving forward.

The consultation period will run from: Monday 6th July to Monday 20th July

2.02 MB

During this time, you will have the opportunity to review our proposed RSHE policy and curriculum materials, as well as provide your feedback.

Please see further curriculum materials below in relation to how we teach PSHE at our schools.
