We are excited to announce that Mrs Bryony Bardwell has been appointed as principal at Drove Primary School.
Mrs Bardwell succeeds Dr Nick Capstick OBE, who we would first like to thank for his outstanding dedication to the school for over two decades.
Bryony has been working at Drove Primary for the past ten Years. Starting as a trainee teacher in Early Years before working her way up to the leadership team. After a successful run as Assistant Principal she has more than earned the opportunity to be the leader of Drove Primary.
When asked what her plans were for her first year as Principal, Bryony said:
“During my first year at Drove my ambition is to ensure that it is a school where the Senior Leadership Team, Teachers, and support staff work together to ensure we are inclusive for all.”
Mrs Bardwell also wants to make the children's learning even more inclusive and engaging:
“The children will have a range of experiences to support their learning and have memorable experiences to excite them in their learning and to encourage them to reach their full potential.“
Outside of school, Mrs Bardwell is a dedicated Netball player. She once captained her team and is currently the secretary of the club she plays for. Mrs Bardwell also enjoys spending time with her family and taking her yellow labrador Tex for walks.
We believe there is no one better to take over the leadership of Drove Primary School than Mrs Bardwell. We look forward to seeing what exciting direction she takes Drove Primary and we have full confidence that she will excel as Principal.
